In a conversation with Karima El Korri, UN Resident Coordinator in Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei Darussalam and a broad range of policymakers, development actors, academics, civil society representatives, and diplomats, Professor Sachs will provide an overview of the current global situation and its implications for countries like Malaysia.
He will discuss how the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development remains the most relevant development roadmap to drive structural transformation. He will also highlight entry points and practical solutions to steer the economy towards a green and fair transition, reduce poverty and inequalities, bolster adaptation and leverage technology and innovation for a sustainable future.
